The MCICE Summer CI Program, which ran from July 8-19th, 2019, was a great experience! The program provided 6 children with audiological and speech services from graduate student clinicians supervised by the accomplished clinical staff at the University of Maryland, College Park. Each day used a different book to establish and improve hearing and speech abilities such like spatial concepts, vocabulary, sound identification, and auditory memory. It was a wonderful opportunity for connection, learning, and immersion in a language rich and hearing supportive environment for the summer program participants.
