Dr. Annie Furrugiaro is a clinical audiologist at the Division of Audiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She received her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Maryland-College Park. She completed her clinical residency at Georgetown University and gained experience in the field of Audiology at the Hearing and Balance Center at Yale University and at Kaiser Permanente before joining the team at UMMC. She has a wide range of clinical experience involving the diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance disorders for patients of all ages, with special interests in cochlear implants, pediatric diagnostic evaluations and amplification, as well as electrophysiologic testing for infants and children. She is certified as a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
