Anna Tinnemore is a Ph.D. student in the Neuroscience and Cognitive Science (NACS) program at the University of Maryland. She is based in the Hearing and Speech Sciences Department with her co-mentors, Dr. Sandra Gordon-Salant (Hearing Research Lab) and Dr. Matthew Goupell (Auditory Perception and Modeling Lab). She studies language perception in adults with cochlear implants and how language perception changes with aging. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree at the University of Arizona (2017), an M.A. in Computational Linguistics at the University of Washington (2007), and a BA in Linguistics at the University of Washington (2004).
