Colleen K. Worthington is a clinical professor and Director of Clinical Education in Speech-Language Pathology in the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she teachers the graduate course in Diagnostic Principles and Methods. She has over 25 years of clinical experience and is the co-author of a leading textbook on treatment principles and techniques in speech-language pathology, as well as a widely-adopted preschool cirriculum for facilitating phonological awareness skills as a basis for early literacy development.
